Executive Director's Message: March 2023

It’s an exciting time for CBN, as we ramp up our efforts towards our annual conference, welcome members back to our network for another year, and get set for our AGM.

This June, we will be looking to welcome three new industry experts to our Board of Directors. The CBN's Board is made up of twelve members and each director has the opportunity to sit on the board for a total of six consecutive years (three terms of two years each). 

The CBN is a Canadian not for profit organization and we make every effort to have national (coast to coast to coast) and sector (including experts in brownfield land development from legal, planning, economic development, municipal, technical, insurance, and developer) representation on the Board.

The new Board members will be presented at the AGM which will be held on June 16, 2023. 

Responsibilities for members are attendance at our bi-monthly Board meetings, active involvement in at least one of our many committees, and help in promoting our annual events.
